Arla began with a simple belief: that good design doesn’t need to shout.
We started Arla to create lighting that earns its place over time — objects shaped by clarity, restraint and material honesty. Pieces designed to live with you, not date the moment they arrive.
Every Arla light is made by hand in Christchurch, shaped slowly, finished intentionally, and produced in small runs. We’re not interested in fast launches or constant novelty. We’re interested in designing objects that belong.
This first collection is deliberately small.
It’s a starting point.
